Kelly Casey was the epitome of strong-willed, determined, upbeat... all the positive adjectives you could think of, that was Kelly. She was also a 38-year mum of 2 who had an incurable brain tumour. She battled against it from 2015, and briefly went into remission before new tumours on her brain stem started growing in 2021. For most people being diagnosed with an incurable brain tumour is understandably enough to dim their sparkle but not Kelly. Ever since her diagnosis she refused to let it take control of her. For her, death didn’t need to be dim, it just meant that she knew when she was going to die. She made it her mission to have fun and raise as much money for the Hospice as possible.

Kelly left behind a loving husband Alan and her 2 sons Aidan and Kian. He and the rest of Kelly’s family are going to continue fundraising in celebration of her life and who she was.
